BEFORE
Church in Toronto, Toronto, Ontario
PROJECT: To provide design direction for a substantial renovation. This project included budgeting to assess how many areas of the church could be upgraded and how best to utilize the funds for the greatest impact. The redesigned areas included the entrance hallways and lobby, sanctuary, dining area, washrooms, kids’ classrooms, youth room and fellowship room. The scope of work included thematic and artwork development, working with a volunteer artist, selecting and installing new flooring, paint colours, window blinds, custom lighting, furniture, artwork, cabinetry and millwork.
AFTER: An acoustics engineer was brought in to fine tune the room with sound baffles and suggested equipment.
AFTER: A talented artist from the church worked with the designer to enhance the space with wall murals.
AFTER: Cost effective building materials were installed in creative patterns for maximum impact.
AFTER: Custom cubes form coffee tables and
can be moved around for smaller group gatherings.
